Our take
I appreciate that this Carter futon arrived fully assembled—no hassle. The stone faux linen looks elegant, and the tufted back gives it a tailored feel. The cushions are foam-filled and medium firmness, which is supportive for sitting but a bit firm for sleeping. The split back design allows separate reclining positions. However, the seat height of 19 inches is a bit low for me, and the arm height is only 7 inches, so not great for resting arms. It's a solid piece for occasional guest sleeping, but at $717.99, I'd expect thicker padding.
